“This warm up is sure to raise the pulse and grab the attention of your whole class from the off!”
Happy Sunday PE Umbrella community!
I am fresh from my first week back after the Christmas break and boy have I missed teaching! I have walked into a fresh set of classes and challenges this half term but i’m as determined as ever to provide the best PE experience that ALL of the children I work with have ever had!
This week I am again sharing with you a resource that I have found to be incredibly useful over the past year working for ‘Sporting Influence’. I was inspired to post this warm up after using it on more than one occasion this week and seeing just how much the children actually loved playing it. So from me to you, the PE Umbrella community I encourage you to set aside 15 minutes of your time, put on your headphones, and listen to why ‘Shark Attack’ is a MUST HAVE warm up activity! Don’t forget to click the button below to grab your FREE PDF copy and take it into school with you!
So, listen to this weeks episode of The PE Umbrella at your own leisure to hear all about this incredible PE warm up.
Also, don’t forget to check out the wonderful ‘Get Set Road to Rio’ app from the iTunes store. This is a truly wonderful resource that will encourage ALL children to get moving in the build up to the Olympics! I’m certain as top practitioners, you can find truly innovative ways in which to do so. Visit the Get Set – Road to Rio website by following this link https://www.getset.co.uk/road-to-rio and register there.
Be sure to subscribe to The PE Umbrella on iTunes or Stitcher radio by following the links above or below. It would be amazing if you could rate and review the show there and give me your feedback. I hope that you find this activity as useful as I have done over the past year and as always, please get in touch if you use it yourself and let me know how it goes! Have a fantastic week and i’ll catch you next time ‘Under the Umbrella’
