Welcome to episode 161 of The PE Umbrella podcast, the ONLY dedicated Primary PE Podcast in the world!
Joining me Under the Umbrella this week, is coach for the Ebor Academy trust and teacher of Primary PE Steven Jeff. It was a true pleasure chatting to Steven this week and finding out about his teaching philosophy and ideas. Since lockdown, Steven has been incredibly active on social media (see his twitter handle below) and brought his A-game with activities to do at home as well as sharing incredible ideas for the school cluster he works in, most recently an online sports week!
During this episode, we delved into Stevens ideals as a teacher and shared experiences, advice and tips that you can all take away to use or reflect on. All of the show regular questions were here this week as we discussed:
- – What currently excites you about PE?
- – What misconceptions of Primary PE would you banish to room 101 given the chance?
- – How would you describe yourself as a PE teacher in 3 words?
- – What is your perfect primary PE lesson recipe?
- – What was the worst PE lesson you ever taught and why?
All of that plus top class-management tips, favourite warm-up games and behaviour management advice, you’d be crazy to miss it!
So what are you waiting for? Come on over and join us Under the PE Umbrella.
