Welcome to The PE Umbrella Podcast, episode 69, the ONLY Primary and Elementary Physical Education podcast in the world. This week I am pumped to be bringing you a resource episode and the chance to share with you my recent ‘creations’ using the app ComicLife. You can find each of the PDF documents that I discuss in this episode attached below so grab them now!
So, for a long time now I have toyed with the idea of making more resources to support my teaching…
Reason 1: I hate trawling through inadequate resources online, and the ones I find that are excellent I don’t need to ‘remake’. I don’t need to reinvent the wheel right?
Reason 3: Having started a journey into transforming my Physed classroom into a more ‘co-operative learning’ based environment, I needed some resources to accompany this. I had no option but to begin creating. Check out episode 66 in which I talk in more depth about the beginning of my ‘co-operative learning journey’.
After creating my first few (which you will see aren’t exactly amazing), I soon got the bug and absolutely LOVE making these resources! I soon branched out into other areas and resources that appealed to me (I’m selfish like that sometimes) as I need things to be extremely visual and ‘written in crayon’. So grab the resources for free yourself by clicking the buttons below, I hope they are as useful to you as they have been for me!
I refer to the video below in this episode, it really gives you a sense of the space I had to work with and showcases a couple of the resources and where I placed them!
I hope you enjoy this weeks episode and find the resources useful. I would love your feedback, whether positive or negative so please Tweet me @thepeumbrella or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Before you leave… If you enjoy listening to my weekly episodes be sure to subscribe to The PE Umbrella on iTunes or Stitcher radio by following the links above.
