“You can’t let your students down, they’re expecting something big from you so you have to deliver.”
Welcome to episode 90 of The PE Umbrella Podcast, and as always thank you for giving up your time to join me on the ONLY Primary and Elementary Physical Education Podcast in the world! In this episode I am joined by another Aussie Physed rockstar Christina Polatajko who joins us for the first time on the show!
During this episode we get to know what makes Christina tick and how she came to teach PE in the first place. I sought to understand what she is like as a teacher and how it would feel to be sat in her class as a student. She shares insights into how one of her lessons would be pieced together, incorporating aspects that I’m sure you’ll love to try out yourselves. It isn’t all roses though, as Christina delves into her past to share her worst teaching experience with us and what she learned from the whole experience. Don’t worry though, we flipped it on its head and gave her the chance to also tell us about one of her proudest moments and what she considers her greatest lesson ever!
As if that’s not enough, Christina also shares some quick fire actionable knowledge bombs, telling us about two favourite warm ups, a top class management tip and what she considers to be the best PE resource for teachers. So what are you waiting for? Come on over and join us Under the PE Umbrella!
